Stichion is a premium mastiha drink brand that embodies the purity of nature, wisdom of the past, and quality of modern techniques. Mastiha is a resin that is extracted from the mastic tree, which grows exclusively on the Greek island of Chios. The Chios Mastiha Growers Association carefully cultivates these trees and collects the resin by making small cuts on the bark of the tree. The resin then naturally flows out of the tree and dries into small, translucent droplets known as “tears.”

Stichion uses only the highest quality mastiha resin, sourced directly from the Chios Mastiha Growers Association, to create its flagship product. The mastiha resin is distilled in traditional copper stills, which help to retain the unique aromas and flavors of the resin. The distilled mastiha is then combined with sugar to create a sweet and robust crystalline drink with 26% alc/vol. The result is a velvety distillate with a balanced sweetness and robust full body that truly honors the long history and noble heritage of mastiha.
